Growing up with dyslexia: ‘What if I can’t read?’

Abbie Freeman could not read or write until she was 13 and struggled with dyslexia through her school years.

In a BBC Scotland Disclosure documentary, Abbie has been meeting other people who struggle with literacy.

Having completed a university degree, she returns to her high school to speak to her former teacher and current pupils there.

What does it feel like when you’re slip through the cracks? And what can teachers do to help pupils who are struggling?
