Ghosts fans invited to spooky sleepover at Button House in Surrey

Fans of the BBC comedy series Ghosts can now have a spooky sleepover in the fictional house where it is set.

The show is about married couple Alison and Mike Cooper, played by Charlotte Ritchie and Kiell Smith-Bynoe, who inherit a medieval property – Button House – as well as a group of ghosts from different historical periods.

West Horsley Place, Surrey, where the programme is set, is hosting a series of events across different dates to celebrate the launch of the new feature film, Ghosts: The Possession of Button House.

Clare Clinton, director of the estate, said: “We are very excited about the new Ghosts film and we wanted to find a way to celebrate with fans.

“West Horsley Place is magical after dark, and we thought fans would enjoy spending a night where their favourite characters live.”

Eva Yates, director of BBC Film, said the BBC was delighted to bring Ghosts back in October after three years away for a film which will be shown on big and small screens.
