GB’s Mia Brookes wins slopestyle World Cup bronze

Great Britain’s Mia Brookes won bronze at the Slopestyle World Cup in Calgary.

Brookes, the 2023 world champion, scored 74.08 to comfortably secure a podium finish ahead of Australia’s Tess Coady.

Fukada Mari just edged Germany’s Annika Morgan to secure her first slopestyle World Cup gold.

Morgan had topped the standings with 76.30, but the 18-year-old Japanese scored 77.58 with the final run of the competition to claim victory.
