The university said over the next two weeks campus stalls will discuss the expectations it has around preventing harassment, bullying, sexual misconduct and discrimination.
“We appreciate this situation has been frightening for many students, particularly women who are now concerned about their own safety when going out in Bath.”
It said it was also concerned about reports of abuse directed at student sports club members.
“All students have the right to feel safe on the university campus and within the community,” it added.
The University of Bath Rugby club and SU said it “does not condone, encourage, or accept targeting, coercion, harassment, intimidation, or any behaviour that puts others at risk.”
“The University of Bath Rugby Club is committed to promoting a culture of respect, accountability, and inclusion,” a spokesperson added.
