Freddie’s feline the love from his Skegness supermarket fans

A cat who makes regular trips to his local supermarket has won fans around the world.

Freddie began following his owners to the store in Skegness, Lincolnshire, and liked his days out there so much they have now become part of his daily routine.

“A lot of people now fuss him,” said owner Julie Maczynski. “He’s just becoming a legend in the town.”

More than 2,000 people follow the Freddie the Skegness Cat Facebook page.

His family are using his fame to raise money for charity, producing memorabilia including T-shirts and mugs, and they have had orders from as far away as Australia.
