A former cold war bunker has been put for sale for a guide price of £45,000.
The bunker, in Folkestone, Kent, can only be accessed by a ladder and was built by the Ministry of Defence in 1971, as a Royal Observation Corps Monitoring Post.
Sam Fogarty, from Miles & Barr estate agents, says the bunker is “sizeable” when you get in it but on the surface, it is disguised with two “inconspicuous” pieces of concrete.
It is believed to be the last of 1,500 bunkers that were built in the UK.
The bunker was built during the Cold War and its purpose was to spot nuclear explosions and track radioactive fallout during an atomic war.
