For the First Time, Netflix Will Air a Show Live Daily: ‘The Breakfast Club’ Podcast

Netflix is turning The Breakfast Club’s presence on the platform into a daily live feed, the streamer announced on Thursday. Starting June 1, the program will stream live each weekday on Netflix, making the daily broadcast a first for the streaming service. The morning radio show and podcast is wildly popular, and features hosts Charlamagne Tha God, Jess Hilarious, Loren Lorosa and DJ Envy.

Fans can still listen to the live radio show, but Netflix subscribers will get a video simulcast featuring behind-the-scenes content, extra segments and ongoing conversations. Based in New York City, The Breakfast Club typically airs from 6 a.m. ET to 10 a.m. ET.

Last December, Netflix and iHeartMedia announced their new partnership and plans to bring video podcasts such as The Breakfast Club, Joe and Jada, Dear Chelsea and My Favorite Murder to the streaming platform in 2026. Viewers will find new episodes and a selection of older episodes for a variety of shows under Netflix’s podcast category. Previously, The Breakfast Club released clips and full episodes on YouTube, expanding its reach to audiences worldwide.

“Do y’all understand what ‘Live Globally’ really means? Mornings in New York. Daytime in the UK and Ghana. Evenings across other parts of the world,” said host Charlamagne tha God. “The media landscape will always evolve, but one thing consistently cuts through: live programming. That’s a big reason The Breakfast Club has sustained its reign for so long. We’re building something powerful — real-time conversation, real community, on a global scale. The future belongs to those who can see what’s possible — and trust me, the vision for The Breakfast Club and Netflix is crystal clear.”

As part of its expanding podcast umbrella, Netflix also offers Spotify shows like The Bill Simmons Podcast and The Big Show through its collaboration with the music streamer.
