The public is being warned not to approach Mickey Blundell, 19, and to instead call police “as a matter of urgency” if he is seen.

Police said there was no threat to the wider public.

His last known address was Radcliffe Road, Fleetwood.

Det Insp Kirsty Wyatt, said: “It is only a matter of luck that this victim did not receive more significant injuries and we are treating this extremely seriously.

“We are carrying out our own enquiries to trace the suspect, but we would also like to appeal for the public’s help to find him.

“If anyone sees Blundell or knows where he may be I would ask them not to approach him but to contact police as a matter of urgency.”

Ammonia is a colourless, reactive gas that is lighter than air which dissolves readily in water. It is typically found in cleaning agents and dyes but can cause adverse health effects depending on the amount a person is exposed to.
