Firefighters are tackling a moorland blaze in West Yorkshire that currently covers approximately 100 metres of land.

Nine fire crews were called to Marsden Moor near Mount Road at about 15:00 BST, a West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said.

Wildfire specialists and a drone team are also at the scene.

The spokesperson advised people to “avoid the area if possible to allow emergency services to work safely and efficiently”.
