Firefighters dealing with ‘significant’ blaze at recycling centre

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) are dealing with a blaze at a recycling facility in the Belfast.

The service have described it as a “significant incident” at the centre near the Ballygomartin Road with eight appliances in attendance.

Local residents are being advised to keep windows and doors closed.

The NIFRS said in a statement that people should avoid the area as firefighters deal with blaze.
