Fire at b-listed former Glasgow hospice was deliberately started

The property has been unoccupied since 2018, when a new £21m hospice opened in Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park.

In January, five teenagers were rescued from another fire at the site, which police had treated as deliberate.

At the time Glasgow City Council said its building standards team was aware of the condition of the building, which had previously been marked for redevelopment.
