Father Christmas surprises train passengers

BBC Radio Humberside’s annual Santa Bus has finished its week of sprinkling Christmas magic across the region.

The bus visited Tweendykes School and Sixth Form in Hull on Tuesday, Bursar Academy in Cleethorpes on Wednesday, and St Richards’ VC School in Hull on Thursday.

On Friday, Father Christmas himself kidnapped breakfast presenter Kofi Smiles and took him on a festive train ride from Brough to Hull before entertaining commuters with the Salvation Army Choir at the Paragon Interchange.

Clare Crooks, BBC Radio Humberside’s communities editor, said: “What a pleasure it is to be able to spread Christmas cheer to schools and listeners across our local patch every year!”
