The family of a 67-year-old biker who died after a crash in Falkirk have paid tribute to the husband and father as their “rock”.

James Cochrane’s motorbike was involved in a crash with a van on Thursday in Larbert, at the junction of Bellsdyke and Kincardine Road.

Emergency services attended but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

In a family statement, his wife Jackylyn also described him as her best friend and soul mate.
