A woman in her 80s has died following a single-vehicle crash in County Donegal.
The crash happened at 13:30 on Tuesday on the N56, Ballina Road, at Falcarragh.
The woman was the driver and only occupant of the car, gardaí (Irish police) said.
She was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital with serious injuries, where she died.
The N56 at the Ballina Road is closed while a forensic examination of the scene is carried out.
Gardaí have asked witnesses, particularly anyone with dashcam footage, to come forward.
