F1 in Africa: Rwanda and South Africa bid to host race from 2027

Rwanda and South Africa are bidding to bring Formula 1 back to Africa for the first time since 1993.

However, both countries face several hurdles before reigning world champion Max Verstappen and the rest of the grid will race on the continent.
