‘Everything is possible’ for Hearts – Claudio Braga

At 21, Braga left the lower reaches of football in his homeland for the Norwegian third tier.

His goals helped Moss win promotion and he signed for Aalesunds in 2024 when they dropped out of the top flight.

Braga says he “started researching” Hearts as soon as he learned of their interest in him late last year.

“I was really, really happy when I got to know that it was 100% done with the club and with Hearts and Aalesund so that was a big moment of my life,” the Portuguese explained.

Braga has very quickly become a fans’ favourite, with supporters changing the words of Queen’s 1984 song ‘Radio Ga Ga’ to incorporate his name.

“I heard it on a voice message that somebody showed me,” he explained. “I was like, ‘oh it’s a good song but people will never sing the full song because, with all the lyrics, it’s two minutes’.

“I thought it was just going to vanish but suddenly people start singing in the whole stadium, the full song. The first time was crazy.

“Now it’s kind of natural but it gives me motivation to be honest every time they sing it. Having that moment is special.”
