A 97-year-old woman’s wish came true, when she was given a helicopter ride on her birthday.
Staff at Broadway Halls Care Home in Dudley in the West Midlands arranged the treat for resident Gwen Jinks.
She took off from Wolverhampton Halfpenny Green Airport and flew towards Stourport and Bewdley in Worcestershire and Bridgnorth in Shropshire.
She said the “whole thing was absolutely beautiful”.
