Driver rescued by air ambulance following crash in Fife

A driver has been taken to hospital by air ambulance following a crash involving a van and a lorry in Fife.

The driver of another vehicle was taken by ambulance to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for treatment.

Police were called to the scene on Den Walk, Methil, on Saturday morning at about 09:00.

Three appliances from the Scottish fire and rescue service attended the scene where the road was closed for several hours before reopening at about 14:00.
