Dozens perform Strip The Willow in Glasgow

Ceilidh dancing brought a section of one of Glasgow’s busiest pedestrian streets to a standstill on Saturday.

About 100 people joined Highland dancers and pipers from The National Piping Centre.

The event was part of celebrations to mark 850 years of the city.

The dance floor was a newly revamped pedestrian area of Sauchiehall Street.
