Dolly Parton’s mother may have come from north Wales, according to her niece Jada Star.
Jada was speaking to Radio 4 Today Programme about her aunt’s Welsh roots.
The country music star traced her ancestry to the Welsh valleys for a TV programme, but Jada said her mum came from Conwy.
Dolly said she said she was “tickled pink” about the curiosity surrounding her Celtic origins.
