Dogs and owners share outdoor pools in Abingdon and Wallingford

Dogs and their owners enjoyed a swim together at Abbey Meadow outdoor pool in Abingdon.

The Swim for Dogs day marks the end of the outdoor pool’s season, after which the pool is drained and cleaned.

Assistant general manager Rebecca Richmond said “People love it, last year it worked really, really well. So, this year we have put even more on and a full day of dog swims”.

The Swim for Dogs day was on at Riverside outdoor pool in Wallingford and Abbey Meadow outdoor pool in Abingdon.
