Dog dies in Crawley house fire

A Crawley house fire, in which a dog died, is believed to have been started deliberately, police have said.

Firefighters were called to the blaze at a property in Creasys Drive, Broadfield, at about 15:15 BST on Saturday.

Sussex Police said it was being treated as “suspected deliberate ignition”.

No people were injured in the fire, West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service confirmed earlier.
