A motorcyclist who died following a crash with a police car in Londonderry was Richard Edwards.
The 68-year-old from the Derry area died following the collision close to Maydown police station on Wednesday.
Mr Edwards was taken to hospital but later died.
In a statement, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said the driver of the police vehicle, who they described as a “contracted member of staff”, was not injured in the incident.
