Culbin Forest wild fire prompts plea to public to avoid area

Emergency services are dealing with a wild fire which has broken out in woodland in the north of Scotland.

Police Scotland said it had received reports of the incident in the Culbin Forest area at about 15:10.

A short statement said there were no reports of any injuries as a result of the fire.

Members of the public have been asked to avoid the area between Nairn and Burghead.
