Croydon: Woman, 31, found dead at house named as Jamelatu Tsiwah

A 31-year-old woman who was found dead at a house in Croydon, south London on Monday has been named by police as Jamelatu Tsiwah.

Police and paramedics were called to a property on Bensham Lane on Monday following reports of an unresponsive woman, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post-mortem examination found the cause of death was due to neck compression.

Larry Nimoh, aged 21, has been charged with murder and attempted murder and is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court later, the Metropolitan Police added.
