The alarm was raised via an emergency position-indicating radio beacon (Epirb) registered to the vessel.
An HM Coastguard fixed-wing aircraft was sent as well as a search and rescue helicopter from Norway.
A broadcast was issued for nearby vessels to support the search.
A Coastguard statement said: “The crew was recovered safe and well from a liferaft by a fishing vessel which responded to the call for help.
“No-one was reported missing and the crew will be brought to shore by another vessel.”
