Creeslough: Man in his 60s released in explosion investigation

A man in his 60s who was arrested by gardaí (Irish police) investigating an explosion in Creeslough, County Donegal, in 2022, has been released without charge.

The blast, which killed 10 people, happened at a service station in the village on 7 October 2022.

The victims – four men, three women, two teenagers and a five-year-old girl – were from the village or surrounding areas.

Gardaí said the man had been arrested on Thursday for alleged offences contrary to the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act 1997.
