Tom Lockyer says he was “so impressed” by Craig Bellamy when he met the new Wales boss during the last international break.
Bellamy’s reign began with a goalless draw against Turkey in the Uefa Nations League at Cardiff City Stadium, before a 2-1 away win over Montenegro in the competition.
Wales defender Lockyer is currently recovering from a cardiac arrest and hopes to play for his club, Luton Town, and his country again.
