A Calgary couple had a frightful encounter with a grizzly bear during a wedding anniversary hike.
The couple was walking in Trolls Falls in Alberta’s Kananaskis Country when the large bear approached them. They were able to remain calm and scared it away by making themselves look large.
Bears are common in the Trolls Falls and Kananaskis Country area, with recent reports indicating an increase in bear activity.
