Durham’s Division One home game against already relegated Kent was first to go following heavy overnight rain at Chester-le-Street.
Four Division Two games were also rained off.
The Glamorgan-Gloucestershire game in Cardiff followed suit, as did Sussex’s home game with Middlesex at Hove, then Yorkshire v Northamptonshire at Headingley and Leicestershire v Derbyshire.
Sussex still need four points to make sure of claiming the Division Two title, while Yorkshire need 10 points to win promotion.
