Conor McKerr: Nottinghamshire sign paceman following Surrey exit

Nottinghamshire have signed pace bowler Conor McKerr on a three-year contract following his release by county champions Surrey.

The 26-year-old has taken 139 wickets in all formats of the game, including four in four games for Notts Outlaws in the T20 Blast during a 2023 loan spell.

He has also spent time away from The Oval on loan at Kent, Derbyshire and Yorkshire, but played in three of Surrey’s last five games of the season as they clinched a third successive Championship title.

“I’ve got to the age where I am probably about to hit my physical peak, and I want to make sure I am making the most of that,” said McKerr, who is 6ft 6ins.
