PA MediaScottish comedian Hardeep Singh Kohli has appeared in court, in private, charged with rape.
The 56-year-old is further accused of an offence against the Domestic Abuse (Scotland) Act.
Mr Kohli made no plea to the two charges at the private hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
He was committed for further examination and released on bail by Sheriff Bernard Ablett. Mr Kohli’s next court appearance is to be determined.
