Coalisland: Shotgun fired through door in County Tyrone

A man has escaped unharmed after a shot was fired through the back door of a house in Coalisland, County Tyrone.

Police said the incident happened just after midnight on Tuesday at the property in Canal Quay.

They added a shotgun was used by the attackers, shattering a glass door.

Officers remain at the scene.
