Club captain Shaun Hutchinson to leave Millwall

Club captain Shaun Hutchinson is set to leave Millwall after eight years with the club.

Hutchinson joined Millwall from Fulham in 2016 and has gone on to make 257 appearances for the Lions.

The defender, 33, also scored 14 goals and was part of the team that won promotion to the Championship in 2017.

Goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski is also leaving after five seasons in south east London.

Newcastle-upon-Tyne born Hutchinson suffered an injury-hit last season at The Den in which he managed only 15 games.

His last goal came on New Year’s Day against Bristol City, which was also the last match he started.

Kamarl Grant, Tom Leahy, Chinwike Okoli, Kyle Smith and Sha’mar Lawson have all been offered new contracts to stay with Millwall.
