The windscreens of up to 11 vehicles parked on the grounds of the City Hospital in Belfast have been broken.

The PSNI (Police Service of Northern Ireland) said officers were alerted to the incident on the Lisburn Road shortly after 22:00 BST on Friday.

Officers are now examining CCTV and other footage.

“We are keen to establish a motive and who was involved in this senseless act of criminal damage,” Insp McCrum said.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
