Christian Horner allegations: Red Bull team principal cleared of inappropriate behaviour

Red Bull’s team principal Christian Horner has been cleared of inappropriate behaviour towards a female colleague following an internal investigation.

Allegations of inappropriate and controlling behaviour had been made against the 50-year-old.

“Red Bull is confident that the investigation has been fair, rigorous and impartial,” said a spokesperson.

Horner, who has led Red Bull since 2005, denied the allegations.

Horner oversaw Red Bull’s record-breaking 2023 season, in which the team won 21 of 22 races as Max Verstappen claimed his third world title.

Red Bull started an investigation after details of the allegations emerged on 5 February and announced the outcome on Wednesday.

“The independent investigation into the allegations made against Mr Horner is complete, and Red Bull can confirm that the grievance has been dismissed,” added the spokesperson.

“The complainant has a right of appeal.

“The investigation report is confidential and contains the private information of the parties and third parties who assisted in the investigation, and therefore we will not be commenting further out of respect for all concerned.

“Red Bull will continue striving to meet the highest workplace standards.”
