Chef Marco Pierre White’s son sentenced for burglary offences

The burglaries took place at a studio in Meadow Street and a shop on Cheap Street, Bath, with a further charge for a theft from a store on Winterstoke Road.

All took place between 19 September and 22 October, the court heard.

Pierre White was arrested in Weston-super-Mare after the theft was reported by a member of the public and officers saw him in a nearby street with stolen items.

Investigating officer PC Reed said he dropped these and ran, but was stopped and arrested a short time later.

He said: “Retail crime causes immense harm to our communities and we’re committed to tackling these offences in all their forms.

“He’s now been brought to justice for three offences within a short period of time.”

Pierre White was also handed a nine-month drug rehabilitation order and a fine.
