A four-year-old has died at a property in Tregaron, Ceredigion, Dyfed-Powys Police have said.
The force said they attended the death on Thursday, and that it was not being treated as suspicious.
“Our thoughts are with the family who are receiving support and they have asked for privacy during this difficult time,” it added.
The death has been reported to the coroner, police said.
The Welsh Ambulance Service said it was called to an incident in Tregaron at about 16:25 BST on Thursday, and that it sent an air ambulance.
