CCTV has shown the moments before and after a former youth footballer left a 70-year-old woman with a broken spine when he rode over her on a motorbike.
Margaret Scaldwell was crossing Orrell Road in Orrell, Wigan, in August 2023, when she was struck by the vehicle.
Greater Manchester Police have released footage of the moments before she was mown down and a 999 call made by a woman who rushed to her aid.
Former Wigan academy player, Kian Monks, 21, was jailed for two years and three months after admitting causing serious injury by dangerous driving, while the vehicle owner and passenger, Joel Pilling, 22, received a suspended sentence.
