Cash App has introduced a new pearlescent wand that you can use to pay for things — but it won’t grant wishes for free sneakers or coffee.

The company said Thursday that the Cash App Wand is the first of multiple new styles of physical payment accessories called Cash App Tags. The $25 near-field communication-enabled product is made for on-the-go payments and is only for Cash App Visa Card holders.

A limited run of the Cash App Wand is available to buy in the app for eligible customers ages 13 and up. In a statement, Thomas Templeton, hardware lead at Cash App owner Block, said the Wand is one of “nearly limitless” designs and a starting point for Cash App Tags.

“From clothing to jewelry, almost any item can become a way to pay with this technology,” Templeton said. “We’re looking forward to hearing what our customers want to see next.”

Cash App said in a press release that it will offer more limited runs of Cash App Tag designs to Cash App Card holders in the coming weeks. Shoppers who buy a Tag can activate it by linking their Tag to their Cash App Card in the mobile app. With the Tag activated, they can tap to pay without having to access their phone or a card.

Cash App Tags work wherever Visa tap-to-pay is accepted and operate the same way as the Cash App Card, according to the company. Tag owners can deactivate them at any time within the app, and the Tags come with “built-in security features including real-time transaction alerts, 24/7 fraud monitoring, and the ability to instantly lock and unlock the Tag within the app.”
