Car crashes into house after police pursuit in Hardwick

Police video showed a teenager driving through a park and along a footpath before crashing a car into a house.

The pursuit began when officers in Hardwick, Cambridgeshire spotted a parked Ford Focus with multiple people inside and no insurance or tax on 10 November.

Footage showed the 18-year-old trying to flee on foot but he was arrested and found to be already disqualified from driving following a previous pursuit in July.

He was sentenced to a year in prison and disqualified from driving for a further two years.
