A woman who died in hospital after being hit by a car in Buncrana, County Donegal, was Rose Byrne.
Ms Byrne, who was in her 80s, died following the collision between a car and two pedestrians at the junction of Lower Main Street and St Oran’s Road on Tuesday.
Ms Byrne was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital but died there at the weekend.
Police have asked anyone who was travelling on Main Street between 14:00 and 15:00 on 14 January to contact them if they have any information or dash-cam footage.
