Bristol children deaths ‘great shock’ to community, say police

Ch Insp Vicks Hayward-Melen has called the death of three young children in Bristol a “terrible and deeply disturbing tragedy”.

A 10-month-old baby boy, a three-year-old girl, and a boy, aged seven, were found dead at a house on Blaise Walk, Sea Mills on Sunday morning. They were discovered by police officers responding to a welfare call.

A 42-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
