Bradford teenager charged with murder of Muhammad Junaid Khan

A teenager has been charged with the murder of a 19-year-old man who was fatally stabbed in Bradford.

Muhammad Junaid Khan died on Loughrigg Street, in the West Bowling area of the city, on Friday, with a 27-year-old man and a 24-year-old man also stabbed.

Mohammed Mehmood, 18, of Woodroyd Road, Bradford, is also charged with attempted murder, assault causing actual bodily harm and possession of a knife in a public place, West Yorkshire Police said.

Mr Mehmood was remanded into custody, the force said, and is due to appear at Bradford Magistrates’ Court later.

A 17-year-old arrested on suspicion of blackmail has been bailed pending further investigations.

The inquiry has seen seven others arrested, with those held either bailed or released under investigation.
