Members of the public will soon be able to see the rarely-seen view from the roof of Blenheim Palace.

TV presenter and designer Kevin McCloud has been showing BBC Radio Oxford’s Sophie Law around the new platform, which will offer views of Capability Brown’s landscape.

It is part of a £10.4m roof restoration project currently being carried out, which is set to be completed in 2026.

The palace is launching the platform to mark 75 years since it opened its doors to the public.
