Birmingham group share their passion for accordions

A specialist family firm is making sure lovers of the accordion continue to stay in tune.

Birmingham Accordion Centre offers tuning, restoration and repair services for musicians at its base on a Birmingham industrial estate.

Over the years, the company has provided accordions for artists including Sir Tom Jones, Sir Bruce Forsyth, Ronan Keating, ELO, Robbie Williams, Benny Andersson from ABBA, The Pogues and Norman Wisdom.

Once a month, the centre, external holds a music night for accordion players across the West Midlands – and their latest session included a set from Coventry-based The Upsiders.
