Police are searching for information about a group of bikers following the death of a motorcyclist at the scene of a crash.

North Wales Police said a 49-year-old man died in the crash on the A525 Ruthin Road near Bwlchgwyn, Wrexham, at about 10:00 BST on Sunday.

The force confirmed the man’s family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

Officers have appealed for anyone with “dashcam footage of a group of 10 motorcyclists” travelling between the A483 at Coedpoeth and the A525 at Bwlchgwyn in the lead up to the crash to get in touch.
