BBC Verify’s quick take on the Labour manifesto

Sir Keir Starmer has promised stability as he unveiled Labour’s general election manifesto.

He said his party offered a “serious plan” for the country’s future. The Labour leader also warned there was no “magic wand” to provide a quick fix to what he called the “mess” made by the Conservatives, but insisted the country could “still achieve great things”.
