BBC Children in Need: Radio teams take on swimming challenge

As part of this year’s BBC Children in Need, teams across BBC Local Radio are being asked to complete a 1,000-mile swimming challenge to help raise money.

Afternoon presenter Shay Kaur Grewal and BBC Weather presenter Kate Kinsella are leading the BBC Radio London team, with the challenge set to take place over four days from 4 November.

Shay, who only learned to swim a few years ago and is having lessons to help complete the challenge, hopes to encourage others to step out of their comfort zone.
