Attempted murder charge after alleged terror attack near Worcester

A man has been charged with attempted murder after an alleged terror attack at a hotel.

Police were called to the Pear Tree Inn in Hindlip, near Worcester, at about 13:30 BST on Tuesday after a 25-year-old man was injured in an alleged stabbing.

Following an investigation by counter-terrorism police, Callum Parslow, from Worcester, was charged with attempted murder connected to terrorism and possession of a bladed article.

The 31-year-old, of no fixed abode, is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on Monday.
